Reflections for this term Technology-For technology this term I did woodwork and I learnt how to make a box and when I finished I got to make a marble shooter then the last thing that I made was a boat. It was a fun 4 weeks of technology.
Ecological buildings-For ecological buildings we learnt that some things that can make a house ecological is grass on the roof,heat pumps,pink bats,energy efficient lights etc.It was cool looking at grass on the top of roofs.
Add/Sub-For add/sub we learnt/used different strategies to answer and add/sub questions.I am glad I learnt those strategies.
Cross Country-Cross Country was at Bartons farm like usual, I came 6th and got to go to inter school.And at inter school I came 24th it was fun.
Descriptive Writing-For Descriptive writing we wrote a poem about autumn it was fun cause I like autumn.
TeReo-For TeReo we are learning the months,days,numbers and greetings it is fun learning different languages.
Fitness-For fitness we put 2 cones on each side of the turf and have about 5 teams and we race each other at different things like sprinting or skipping.It is fun when we do different things.
Performing Arts drama/garageband-For drama we did plays from fairy tails I was in the story Cinderella and I played the fairy god mother it was fun. For garage band I made a song by myself it was fun and it sounded cool to I listen to it all the time.
Speeches-For my speech I did what my mum does for work-District nurses and on the Dental bus.It was scary when I had to say it to the class but I did it,It was fun except for when I had to say it to the class.
Science Fair-For my science fair I did where is the best place to store bread? it was fun and I enjoyed doing the experiment and also I found the answer which was the most important thing.And doing the science fair for the first time was so fun.
Art with Mr Preston- for art with him we are making a mural of our hose colors and we have 4 panels they look really cool can wait till they are finished.
